Patrick Hay

Patrick Hay has been a barrister in private practice at the Queensland Bar since December 2002. He regularly advises and appears in a wide range of commercial matters. Patrick has extensive experience in the State and Federal courts and tribunals (AAT, QCAT), in the original and appellate jurisdictions.  Patrick also practices in public and administrative law matters, with a particular interest in pharmacy law.

 

In addition to his trial and appellate work, Patrick is also an experienced and enthusiastic mediator.

 

Prior to commencing practice at the Queensland Bar, Patrick was articled to a national law firm and worked as a Judge’s Associate in the Supreme Court of Queensland.  He has degrees in Law (Hons) and Arts from the University of Queensland.
