Glen Rice KC

Glen Rice was educated at the University of Queensland earning degrees in Arts and Law. He was first called to the Queensland Bar in 1979, and again in 1986, after a period of practise as a solicitor.
 
Glen practised as a Crown Prosecutor in the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions for many years, specialising in serious and organised crime. He appeared regularly criminal matters in superior courts and in the Court of Appeal.

 

Glen was appointed Senior Counsel in 2009 and Queen’s Counsel in 2013. He joined the private Bar in 2015. He continues to practise in crime, but also in the areas of regulatory prosecutions, professional disciplinary matters in QCAT, and in administrative law. Glen has also appeared as counsel assisting in several inquiries.
